Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Auric Money(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Zhicong Zhong, doing business as Auric Money(“we,” “us,” or “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Auric Money is a personal finance tracking tool that connects to your bank accounts and credit cards via Plaid Technologies, Inc. (“Plaid”) to retrieve and display your transaction history, account balances, and spending analytics. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
• You must be a resident of the United States.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You may not create more than one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised, used fraudulently, or are in violation of these Terms.

Auric Money uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting an account, you agree to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy and authorize Plaid to act as your agent to access your financial data on your behalf.

Auric has read-only access to your financial data through Plaid. We cannot initiate transactions, move funds, or take any action on your accounts.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of data provided by Plaid or your financial institutions.

Auric Money is an informational tool only. Nothing on this Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

The data, charts, and analytics displayed are for personal tracking purposes only. Consult a qualified financial professional for advice specific to your situation.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with the proper working of the Service

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy & Data Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

While we use industry-standard integrations (Plaid) and security protocols, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information and financial data at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AURIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zhicong Zhong and Auric Money from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; or (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any privacy or intellectual property right.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time for any violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Class Action Waiver: TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND AURIC AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within Orange County, California for the resolution of any disputes.

We may revise these Terms at any time and will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
